JOHN A. CHIASSON, Lake Charles LA #26 ... It is always nice as a caller to find a call that has many positive attributes without sacrificing one end of the sound for the other.
In my opinion, from my personal running of various Big Dog's in the 1-100 numbered batch, the call executes many viable sounds well.
As you can hear, there is a HUGE LOW END,BUT the call starts and runs easily. The call also retains a significant degree of boldness in the middle to high end, WITHOUT STRAINING THE CALLER.
This leads to a large amount of efficiency as far as running many notes together in chain without taxing the caller into fatigue. A very nice feature,BIG sound with EFFICIENT running, for extended time in the field if needed.
Some of many higher level technological aspects associated with this particular call.
NICK PATIN, Sunset LA #1 ... From top to bottom one of the slickest and most efficient calls I've ever run. A great crisp top with a big bold bottom and both are easily attainable. The call closes yodels and clucks effortlessly. Also for those who like to keep one hand on the gun to not be the last one out the pit slinging steel one hand operation of this call is easy and sounds great.
SETH OUSLEY, Crowley, LA #100 ... The BigDog creates big sound with very little effort from top to bottom and that is all a speck caller can ask for in a speck call. Easily accessible bottom end murmur and scratch all the way through the mid range notes and high pitched yodels that roll off the tone board with ease. The Bigdog is all live speck and went straight onto my lanyard for this hunting season.
